The Content:
There's not too many exclusively black lesbian sites around so Sistas In The Hood just might have cornered the niche on this one.
Logging into SistasInTheHood is a complex process because you won't be taken directly into the content but into Elite Members Area. That's no problem, though, because links to Sistas In The Hood can be found in a dropdown list that appears when you point your mouse on the Exclusive Sites tab or in the Exclusive Sites section as you scroll down the page. From there you'll be taken to what looks like a blank page but if you're observant, you'll notice the drop down box at the upper left that can bring you to the type of content you're looking for, be it a photo or a video set.
SistasInTheHood's content count is short of being pathetic, with just 10 photo sets and 10 video sets as of now (this site is very fresh and still in baby shoes). Unfortunately, since all the content was uploaded in a span of just 4 days and pretty much stopped after that since the last update is dated last June 2007, we really can't determine yet if there's an update schedule that SistasInTheHood might follow soon. Sistas In The Hood, however, is true to the content of black girls playing with each other so if that's really what you're looking for, then you're definitely in the right place.
The videos are available as either full-video downloads in both WMV (480x360, 1.300 Mbps) and MPEG (480x360, 1.25 Mbps) formats or as split video files in WMV format alone.
The photos can be viewed in either 1000x666 or 750x500 resolutions depending on the orientation of the photo, the former for vertically-oriented photos and the latter for horizontally-oriented ones.
With just 20 sets available, it's a good thing a SistasInTheHood membership can get you access to 8 bonus sites from Elite Members' network of sites that, as it just so happens, targets different niches like Gagaholics and Squirt My Cum to name a couple. It's also good that you'll also get 19 bonus DVDs that are viewable online as well as a huge number of DVD feeds that also has different niches, from anal action to MILFs to interracial scenes.

The Criticism:
As mentioned, the lack of an update schedule is a big letdown here because you're not sure if there'll be more updates in the future or if it's just the 10 photo and 10 video sets that you'll be getting – ever.
And that brings me to my next beef with, SistasInTheHood, and that's the very low content count. I mean, really, just having 20 sets and not updating anything after more than a month is weak - I am no fan of erratic updates, I want stability and set schedules.
Sistas In The Hood also seems to use the same set over and over again so that could get boring after a couple of viewings. They could be more creative by setting things up differently or they might even try shooting outdoors for a change.
ZIP file downloads for the photo sets would also be a nice add-on bonus. And Sistas In The Hood could standardize the photos so that they can all be seen in just one resolution instead of making them different based on the photos orientation.
Having a model's info or a short background story for every set would make the surfing experience faster instead of having to stream or download the videos just to find out they're not worth your time.
And, as always, Elite Members should change the current set-up where logging in brings you into Elite Members Area. It's bothersome, to say the least, because if I'm logging on to a site, I expect to be taken straight to the content, dammit!
