The Site
Having the tagline of “the # 1 online magazine and Barely legal megasite”, Barely Legal is just actually another teen site. The only real difference is that it is under one of the most popular and trusted adult publications, Hustler Magazine.
Barely Legal, of course, features young strumpets aged 18 and a little above. This site archived the pictures and articles from their published magazines, with the same title, way back from March 2000.

Pros

- Entertaining Magazine Archives. Archives of the published magazines with the same title is made available on line. The archived Issue of Barely Legal magazine goes way back to March 2000 up to present. Every month, a new issue is added with 10 teen models in mostly softcore, pussy spread poses.
- Site design is Above Average. I have to say that the design, over all, is quite good and a bit teen-ish. I like the way they use pastel colors and the color combination they used complement each other and it looks very neat.
- Good Enough number of exclusive hardcore vids content. BarelyLegal has already accumulated 120 barely legal DVDs which you can stream or download. This doesn't include other third party video fillers.
- Extra, extra, extra. Site does offer nice extras (Hustler mobile, Hustler humor, dating and personals, and special discounts).

Cons

- Free Access To One Site Only. Yes, membership includes free access, but to one site only. Hustler has a Mega Pass Network where 13 sites with different niches can be found. Would be great if they included this with the membership.
- No High-Res Pictures. The pictures you can download from this site are in 600x400 (Standard) quality. I just wish they would include photos with higher resolution than this. This can be quite disappointing for some members who like collecting images.
- NO .zip download on photosets. Now, this is also a downside since .zip file format helps make the downloading of pictures an easy task. Yes, some may argue that there is only an average of 15 pictures per set, but this site has 1,152 photo sets all in all.
- Videos are DRM protected. For you to enjoy watching the movies you have downloaded, you've got to be a member of this site. Since once you decide to cancel your subscription, license of the videos will also be cancelled, Thus, there's no way for you to watch it again... unless you become a member again of Barely Legal.
- Downloading/ Streaming Videos Is Quite Confusing. At first, I thought they don't allow downloading of videos. Then I found out that it takes more than clicking here and there to download or stream videos for that function is hidden. For you to stream, you have to select a format and bandwidth first by clicking the radio button beside your chosen video format and then click play. A continue button will appear inside a box - just click it and you can start streaming.
Downloading videos is just the same. All you have to do is click the radio button beside “download”, select a bandwidth, and click play. After clicking play, click the continue button that will appear inside the box , then right-click “right click to download”, and click “save link as”.
- Navigation could be improved (especially for the videos section). Because of the many third party fillers, it gets confusing going to the right content pages. This makes navigation a bane for members browsing the site.

Conclusion
Being under Hustler publications makes Barely Legal good enough to get a few nods. Hustler is a trusted publication in the porn business. But without this, Barely Legal is just another teen site. It's got a few downsides which need much attention. The most commendable thing about this site is its magazine archives where you can find over 5000 pictures of good looking teens in their birthday suits. There is some good hardcore content which is a plus as well. All in all BarelyLegal got quite something to offer.
